Seven Lakes Events was born from a very personal place. When I planned my own wedding, we spent far more than we should have — not because that's what we wanted, but because we felt we had to. The pressure to meet expectations left us starting our marriage with financial stress that took years to shake. I never wanted another couple to feel that way.

Around the same time, my husband and I skipped traditional bachelorette and bachelor parties — and honestly, our friends were a little disappointed. They wanted a reason to celebrate us. What I realized is that there's a whole group of people out there who want to mark life's milestones in a different way: gathered around a fire, under the trees, with the people who actually matter.

I started Seven Lakes Events to make that possible; to help families and couples create celebrations that feel like them — relaxed, meaningful, outdoors, and real. My belief is that the best memories aren't made by the biggest budgets. They're made by being present with the people you love.
